Anonymous: "Hi! I'm so sorry that I could not reply to your email. between getting a new phone, a new computer and, forgetting the password to my Gmail account, a lot of emails went not replied.
so, to give you an update, I got into grade 11, I'm looking at universities in Japan and Canada and, I have a girlfriend! before committing to her that apparently, I may sound manipulative sometimes but she was cool with it. stuff tuned out alright and I really owe it to your advice!!! thank you soo much for everything!
And about the t-shirt, thank you but no thank you(I have more t-shirts than I can count and I wear a uniform to school every day so I really don't have the use for a t-shirt but the biggest reason is that I didn't tell my parents about submitting a story to a podcast and getting a t-shirt from a podcast would mean a lot of explaining if you know what I mean lol).
By the way, the story with my girlfriend is also awkward but in a pleasant sort of way. "

James: "Hi, I live in a big city and often end up seeing/meeting traditionally famous people or those that I look up to. I don't know them, but really do want to stop to talk to them. The problem is - it's so awkward! I never know what do say, how to act. Do I just tell them how much I admire their work (seems a bit boring). How do you act when meeting people you look up to , without coming off as painfully awkward?"

Cate M.: "my boyfriends always drawing cartoon sketches of balls (like testicles) and i hate it. how can i make him stop?

like when we watch tv or just talk that’s when. im like hello”” can we talk and you not draw balls right now plz??” but he’s like im listening and im like bc its gross

somtimes the balls are on chins. he likes drawing zebra balls alot for why i dunno. like yah its funny when its a good time for balls but not always. unh~

like he does in a business meeting and texts me it. i work at the library so it makes the day fun. its like books all day and then like hey its balls. the zebra balls got bomb ass details. its like art but not. its just like its not special when its our time. like its funny during work but thats it

okay thx"

Elias: "I need help talking to a girl. Just so you know it’s not like a shy thing. Her name is Mary I think but I’m just guessing because I am not a professional lip reader. She works in a public aquarium in the city by where I live. It’s one you just go to that the city pays for with a wall of fish. Mary takes care of the fish in th wall. I go by it when coming home from work most times and Mary is inside tending to all the fishies. She looks so nice so I waved to her a lot and she waved back. I wrote on a postcard “hello” once and she smiled so later in the week I wrote “can I talk to you later?” and she gave me a thumbs up. I went around the back and asked how do I talk to the girl in the fish wall? Like when’s she done working I meant. They wouldn’t tell me because they didn’t know me so I asked if I could leave a note and they were cool with it so they took the note but the guy put it really low under the desk which I think is where the garbage is. I wrote her another card the next day asking if she got my note and she shrugged so I wrote a note asking when she is done working. She put up eight fingers so I did some errands and came back to meet her at 8. The desk guy said she went home already so I left but I saw someone getting out of the wall. I went back to the desk guy and told him I think she just got out and he kept insisting she went home. I decided to come back at 7 again the next day and just wait (I stayed late at work). She wasn’t there and has not been there for three days now from what I can see. Do you think she went on vacation or did they move her shift or fire her? I know I don’t need to get hung up on some girl I don’t know. I just wanted to ask her to coffee but then all this stuff happened. It feels wrong to let it go now before I know. I don’t know if the desk guy likes her or is trying to protect her. What do you think is going on?"
